I was treated for BPH (enlarged prostate) last year with a combination therapy by Dr Murat Uçar.
Early this year, we realized that it wasn't enough to ease my urinating issues. The doctor recommended a TURP surgery to fix my problems. He and his team performed the TURP procedure with the local anesthesia – an injection in the lower back area. All this took around 1 hour and 20 minutes. I did not feel any pain throughout the process. The next day I was allowed to walk with my catheter and a plastic bag for urine. The second day after the surgery the catheter was removed and I was released from the hospital.
The Doctor kept me informed about the process and what should/could I do. The surgery was performed in a very professional manner. The after-surgery bleeding was reduced to the minimum due to doctor’s knowledge and skills as a surgeon. Ten days after surgery I passed the urodynamics tests with a very good result.
